indexing is broken

Hello,
I had previous .pro files that I performed indexing in. Upon reopening to work on them again, indexing no longer works; it breaks after a few iterations. I tried from scratch, then with different datasets, then with the example files in the tutorial. Seems indexing has broken entirely. Any ideas what I can do to fix it?

Define "no longer works". Is there an error? no longer get the same answer? it just doesn't run?

It runs for a few iterations, then stops prematurely giving maybe only 20 solutions or so. There are no errors given. Also, when I click on the solutions that it does produce, there is no visualization of the reflection positions as is normally the case. (it is TOPAS v7 by the way)

I hadn't noticed any problems. I just tried the various examples in the "indexing" folder. They all ran fine for me (TA v7.24). I think ex11.inp failed one time, but it then ran 10 times without any problems so I couldn't find a reproducible error. I haven't tried in gui mode.
I'm guessing the error is more likely as you increase complexity. Have you tried running the files initially with just "Bravais_Cubic_sgs" and working down in symmetry? It might help isolate the problem.
However, it feels like this is something only Alan can help with.
