Hi all

Is there a simple way to "simulate" the

lpsd_th2_angular_range_degrees 3.9
lpsd_equitorial_divergence_degrees 0.5

commands for use with Topas version 3?

I tried several user convolutions but the above keywords seem to correct further asymmetry (i.e. "tilted" peaks).
This is for backward compatibility/reproducibility of Topas4 inp files to be used with Topas3.

Thanks,
Martin
Hi Martin

The LPSD correction in Version 4 corrects for both peak shape and peak intensity. I dont know how to simulate its aberration in a simple manner using version 3. If there was a simple fix then I suppose there would have been no need for the number crunching style LPSD correction as in version 4.

If the 2Th angular range of the LPSD is small then the effects of the LPSD will also be small.

cheers
