Cannot load INP in the log files

Hello,

I recently installed Topas academic and jedit and managed to install the software according to the online video tutorials. Both folders for Topas and Jedit are in the /C directory without spaces in their names and the installation appears to have worked overall, as the plugins were loaded in properly. However, the refinement in Topas does not seem to work as it cannot load the .inp files in the log files. In the log files, it simply says "Cannot load ... .inp". I've also run the "inp-setup.bsh" macro as per the tutorial and it seemed to have worked normally then, so I'm not sure what causes this issue. Topas and Jedit both have full access rights, so this shouldn't be a problem either.

It could just be a problem with the INP file rather than anything to do with jEdit.
What happens if you just launch topas and set the input file with "Launch/Set INP file" than click on the "run" arrow?

I've tried using the Y2O3.xye demo file from your tutorial video and I get the same error message there.

When I launch Topas and click "Load Input files", then I get the following error message:
*** Error loading sstring_in
at LINE 21
See log file C:\Topas-7\topas.log
File extension not supported!

I don't even get to load the .inp file.

I've tried to look up the C:\Topas-7\topas.log file and this file is also missing in the folder.

Have a look through the videos again or try one of the simple tutorials. You don't "load" an input file. You "set" the input file then run in topas. The videos should show you the process.
