Greetings everyone,
I am currently evaluating precipitates in steel. Besides the low intensity, many carbide peaks are hidden inside the main Ferrite/austenite diffraction peaks.
I would like to refine these precipitates only in regions where there is no Ferrite/austenite while maintaining the other phases refining over the whole diffraction range.
I tried to use the exclude command inside each structure, but the excluded range was applied to all structures, not to an individual one.
I am not sure if this is a good or bad idea, but I would like to try it out and see it by myself.
I would appreciate any thoughts about this.
Best regards,
Antonio

It doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
One way you could try doing it is to have an if/else statement for the scale factor. If X is between a certain range, make it zero, otherwise let it refine as normal.
