connected rigid bodies

Hi all,

I would like to try using rigid body constraints on two face sharing octahedra. As far as I can tell this will require writing out a Z-matrix, but thought I would check here if there are any shortcuts.

There aren't any obvious shortcuts I know about. Just defining a larger rigid body or using a z-matrix like you suggest. There was some discussion recently about connected tetrahedra which went to a similar conclusion: http://topas.dur.ac.uk/unb/forum.php?req=thread&id=758.
