elemental_composition and external standard approach

Hi all

I'm doing some quantification using the external standard approach. I've got a bunch of elemental analyses, so I'm calculating my unknown sample MAC, and using NIST 676a as the external standard.

I've gotten the K_Factor_MAC_K and K_Factor_WP macros working, and I think I believe the values.

How do I get elemental_composition to report Rietveld and Corrected elemental compositions? (I don't need "original", as I haven't added any standard)

Additionally I want to be able to set element_weight_percent_known from my elemental analyses to give an assumed composition for "Other"

Matthew: I think you probably know more about this than I do so don't know if I can help. Most of what I've done in quant area is in techref or one of the quant example .inp files that come up in the "Quantitative" submenu of "Examples" in the TOPAS_vn_Menus in jEdit.

My only other thought is to check: http://topas.dur.ac.uk/topaswiki/doku.php?id=get_values&s[]=element

Do a search for "weight" on that page. Does it give any clues?

Reading through that, techref, and the K_factor macros, it just looks like its an after-the-fact rescaling of the weight fractions.

I've sent off an email to Alan with some questions and suggestions.
