Dear Topas users,
May I ask where can I find the original paper or calculation for variable divergence slit shape correction?
I mean, why the convolution should like 1/2√εεm, for ε=0 to εm=-EDFL^2 Sin2θ 180/Pi/4R^2 ?
Thanks all your help!

The VDS shape correction is the same as the FDS correction; they both use the one_on_x_conv convolution (see Klug and Alexander for details).
In the case of VDS the divergence changes such that the amount of sample irridiated is kept constant and hence the details of -CeV(c,v)^2 Sin(2 Th) Rad / (4 Rs^2). The parameter refined in the Variable_Divergence macro is the length of the sample irridated in the equitorial plane.
See test_examples\var_div_y2o3.inp for an example.

Thanks for reply Alan!
Yes, in VDS, EDFA Deg R / Sinθ = EDFL.
