Import data in Q-Space

I was wondering if there was a way of importing data collected in Q space into Topas, I have recently collected some Energy Dispersive X-Ray Diffraction (EDXD) data, which was collected directly in Q-space, but am having trouble importing it into Topas.

I have a file of Q values versus intensity, but cannot find a way to import it into Topas, without Topas thinking the x value is 2theta.

I know it is possible to import neutronTOF data, and to convert data collected in TOF or 2theta into d and Q, so surely this is something that can be done.

If anybody knows a solution to this problem, I would be very thankful.

You can directly fit energy dispersive data - usually in counts vs E. There are some links in the jedit menus on how to do this or see the publications by Rowles/Scarlett and others.

Also, be careful with fitting peak shapes and the like.

The data may have been collected in q, but it will still be affected in E or 2T, depending on the original instrument geometry.
