I'm trying to use someone else's template and they have used "bkg" twice.
I think it's wrong to do so, but I'm not sure.
I tried commenting out but the difference is not obvious.
Part of the template:

x_calculation_step = Yobs_dx_at(Xo); convolution_step 4

I don't understand why there are TWO bkg functions???
Surely that is wrong?
Thanks,
Alan

Alan J,
Have you tried going through the topas tutorials on line? They'll cover a lot of these things. There are also some "standard templates" you could try building your input files from. "Templates" menu under "Durham_Topas_Menus" in jedit.

Thanks for this, John and Alan,
I did look thru the tutorials, but I had some problems running them.
I'll go back and try again now that I'm a bit better at using Topas.
