New Syntax V5?

Hi all,

Is there a new syntax for entering some equations in Topas V5?

For PONKCS Phases, I used to define their "Mass" the following way:

MVW(=calibration_ponkcs;, 1000, wp_ponkcs 0.000)

which was handy, as the calibration_ponkcs parameter (value, e.g. "prm !calibration_poncks 0.15") could be defined at the very beginning of the inp file or could even be read in from an external file.

Version 5 does no longer accept this, it outputs the following error:
"cell_mass should not have an equation at this stage"

Is there another way to do this?

I don't know if you're fixed I his already, but could you try defining it as a macro instead of an equation?
