commercial version of TOPAS

After figuring out how to do my Rietveld refinement in TOPAS, I have been trying to see if I can automate the analysis to save some time. I have been playing around with using jEdit to try and automate the refinement. However, I use a commercial version of TOPAS, version 4.2, not TOPAS Academic. I seem to keep getting a null pointer exception every time I try and reimport the file back into TOPAS (using the Ta button in jEdit). Is this specifically because I do not have TOPAS academic? And is it possible to modify the "inp-setup.bsh" file to allow me to use jEdit to do this analysis?

jEdit should work fine with the later commercial versions of Topas. If you've installed within the last year or so it should get set up automatically. The "->TA" button works with either version. To launch the commercial version use the "red jewel" icon rather than the "TA".
If you installed jEdit a while ago you can update the menus from: http://www.dur.ac.uk/john.evans/topas_academic/jedit_update.htm

If that doesn't work you can always bypass the "->TA" button by using "Launch/Set Input File" in the topas menus.
